SCROLL DOWN TO SEE INTERIOR PHOTOS OF OUR VERY FIRST BOUTIQUE ON LEMMON AVE IN DALLAS FROM MARCH 2009 - NOVEMBER 2009

Here's where we had our 1st retail space. Its a gorgeous victorian house. Hardwood floors that talk back to ya with a little sass (they squeak) and tons of character in every room. That's me upstairs. My room is the window to the right hand side of the photo in the far back. That's right....I've finally landed the quintessential "corner office with a great view" From all 3 windows I can see the beautiful tree filled courtyard in the back of the house.

This is the view to the Left when you enter the room. I have a beautiful antique solid wood english armoire that I WANTED to put along that wall but there was no way in hell they were going to be able to navigate it through the store downstairs and then up two flights of stairs. So - used the rack my husband made for me to house the dresses.

Shot of the left wall with a clearer view of my wall sign. I made it from one of those "back of the door" mirrors. Enlarged my logo, printed it on vellum, cut out the letters and then stippled on glass etching cream. Close up it looks all distressed. I want to add some more distressing to the mirror with a technique I saw on Decorating Cents. Will post the photos when I do.

This is the old steamer trunk I got for a STEAL. I've wanted one of these for ages and got this one it mint condition. Only one owner and still has the original keys and wooden hangers. Its a great place to display the teddies and short robes. I used an old plate rack on the wall to hang some of the longer nightgowns and slips. Just above the printer is where I now display all the sunglasses on a beautiful shabby chic towel rack that looks like a leafy branch.

Heres a full view shot of the right hand side. The doorway there has no door & enters into the studio next door. For privacy, I put up a panel of fabric from a gorgeous bolt of upholstery fabric that I bought on clearance in NJ for like 3 bucks and change. Its so beautiful and brings out the green in the wallpaper. Will have to take a detail shot of that so you can see what I mean. Its gorgeous... looks like peeling distressed plaster walls. Works great with the distressed wooden floors. I got that old sewing mannequin on a kick it to the curb day in NJ. Can you believe someone was just throwing it away? I got an old french paperback, tea stained the pages and decoupauged the whole bodice. As you can see from the bottom I failed to pack it well on the move cross country and she broke :( The Black chest next to it was a deal from Sallys (salvation army) Its n authentic 1950s Lane cedar console with 2 panels that pull out. Was a nasty yellow and lover painted it black for me. The vintage leather suitcase holding the clutches is one of my huge collection - Most I got for free from kick it to the curb days in NJ - yeah - folks out there thew out some amazing stuff!
